How long does the horseback ride last?

The ride lasts 50 to 60 minutes - the ride goes thru Devil's Canyon.

How old do you have to be to ride?: The average five year olds and older may ride their own horse. Riding fee $25.00; Return to Top

Is this Safe for my kids?: Our horseback ride goes at a slow walking pace and each small group is lead by an adult guide. We are proud of our reputation for safety. We have developed a system to maximize safety which has worked successfully for over 25 years.; Return to Top

Do I need reservations?: No, we take riders as they come in. A group usually departs every 10 minutes during the day.; Return to Top

Where are you located?: We are located one mile east of Downtown Dells on highway 16 E. next to Fast Track Go Carts. Call 1-800-254-2811 April thru September for futher information.; Return to Top

Do we really ride thru a canyon?: You will gradually descend about 100 feet down into Devil's Canyon. Once at the bottom, you will ride close to a mile through a twisting, turning sandstone wonder before coming up and out at the other end. Nowhere else in the Dells is it possible.; Return to Top

How many horses do you have?: We use between 100 and 120 horses. They are mainly Quarter
Horses but include Arabians, Morgans, Appaloosas, Paints,
and Standard Breeds.; Return to Top

Is it hard on the horses to carry customers all day?: If a stable is run properly, the horses are not overworked. We saddle up to 75% of our horses each day, working them all in rotation. This allows for days off. Those saddled for the day are rotated for rides. Because our rides are very family oriented, the horses do not run. Knowing the horses are the main attraction, we do our very best to take care of them. Of course, they do get tired.; Return to Top

How much is this going to cost?: Individual rates are $25 per horse for the day ride. You can get a $5 off coupon by printing one from this site and apply it to the individual rate of $25 per horse.

We offer Group Discounts for a party of 15 or more horses, paid for with a single payment. No other discounts or coupons may be applied. The Group Rate is $15 per horse.

All rates apply to a one hour ride.
